My Training and Certifications.

A Path Built Across Continents.

After completing high school at Georges Vanier Secondary School in North York, ON, I pursued my BSc with a Diploma in X-Ray Technology at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. I then completed a Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean.

Following medical school, I completed a rigorous three-year Family Medicine residency at Wilson Medical Center in New York, USA, where I trained in full-spectrum, high-acuity, community-centered Family Medicine. I am internationally board certified and licensed in the United States (ABFM) and in Ontario, Canada (CPSO).

After residency, I worked for almost six years as an attending Physician in the Midwest in the USA, practicing within a fast-paced corporate medical system. Over time, I felt increasingly defeated by a healthcare environment where Physicians were often cornered between insurance demands and corporate pressures. That experience strengthened my resolve to pursue my true calling: delivering medicine the way it is meant to be practiced — discovering root causes, understanding the whole person, and providing holistic, individualized care.

My Integrative Approach to Care.

Healing Is Multidimensional.

My clinical philosophy blends the strengths of modern Western medicine with thoughtful, culturally rooted approaches drawn from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, and Tibb-e-Nabawi, when appropriate and aligned with patient goals. I believe healing is multidimensional — physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental — and that patients deserve care that respects the full spectrum of their lived experience. I am deeply passionate about wellness, prevention, and patient education. Every patient I see receives a designed, individualized wellness plan, because no two people are the same. If each of us carries a unique DNA, then our care should reflect that individuality.

Modern Western Medicine.

Evidence-based clinical practice rooted in the latest medical research and guidelines.

Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Time-honoured healing traditions that address the body as a connected, balanced system.

Tibb-e-Nabawi.

Prophetic medicine emphasizing natural remedies, mindful living, and the spiritual dimension of health.

Physical and Mental Wellbeing.

Every visit considers how the mind and body influence one another — not just presenting symptoms.

Spiritual and Emotional Health.

Recognizing that purpose, faith, and emotional resilience are foundational to lasting wellness.

Personalized Wellness Plans.

Every patient receives an individualized plan, because no two people — and no two health journeys — are the same.

Why I Chose Family Medicine.

The Full Circle of Life.

I chose Family Medicine because I love the continuity of care — the privilege of supporting patients from pediatrics through geriatrics, the full circle of life. There is something profoundly meaningful about caring for newborns, guiding adolescents, supporting adults, and walking alongside seniors, sometimes all within the same family across generations.

I value the variety of each day, the role of being the gateway to health, and the opportunity to guide patients through prevention and education.
