Clinic Policies

Omnipoint Health

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and efficient experience for every patient. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with how we work.

How We Work

What to Know Before Your Visit

The following policies help us run a smooth, fair, and respectful clinic for all patients. If you have questions about any of these, our front desk team is happy to help.

01

Appointments and Bookings

Appointments at Omnipoint Health can be conveniently booked online through our website or by calling the clinic directly. We offer both standard 15-minute consultations for single issues and extended appointments for complex healthcare needs or annual physicals. Please specify the nature of your visit when booking so that adequate time can be allocated for your care.

02

Cancellation Policy

We respect your time and ask for the same in return. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient in need. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a no-show fee, which must be settled prior to your next visit. Multiple missed appointments may lead to restricted booking privileges.

03

Late Arrivals

To maintain our schedule for all patients, we have a 15-minute grace period for arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your appointment or proceed with a shortened consultation to avoid delaying other patients. Late arrivals are treated as missed appointments if rescheduling is required.

04

One Issue Per Visit

To ensure each patient receives the focused attention they deserve, we ask that appointments address one primary concern at a time. If you have multiple health issues to discuss, please let us know when booking so we can schedule an extended appointment. This policy allows us to provide thorough, unhurried care for every patient we see.

05

Lab Services and Diagnostics

While phlebotomy may be available on-site during morning hours, the majority of lab services are handled through LifeLabs or Dynacare. You will be provided with a requisition form during your visit, which can be taken to any OHIP-insured lab in Ontario. Results are typically sent directly to Dr. Zaman for review, and you will be contacted to discuss findings once they are available.

06

Prescriptions and Refills

Prescription refills are best handled during a follow-up appointment. Please monitor your supply and book an appointment at least one week before your medication runs out. Controlled substances require a physical assessment for every renewal. Dr. Zaman always reviews lab results before renewing medications for patients with ongoing conditions.

07

Privacy and Data Protection

Your health information is protected under PHIPA and PIPEDA. We employ secure, encrypted systems to safeguard your personal health data at all times. Omnipoint Health will never share your information without your explicit consent except as required by law.

08

Clinic Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment for all patients and staff. Disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behaviour toward any member of our team will not be tolerated and may result in removal from our patient roster. Compassion and mutual respect are the foundation of the care we provide.
